  • WARNING: Super Bowl Spoiler!

I am officially sorry to everyone, Hunter, Jeremy, Ketrina, whoever, whose Super Bowl I ruined. Let me explain. We had church during the Super Bowl last night and my friends DVR'd it. I think you can see where this is going, and if you know me, this probably doesn't surprise you. I watched the last half of the game at Emily's sister's house, who was not at church, and they were watching it like an hour or so behind on their DVR. I left this perspective, of someone who was already behind the realtime of the game, but still finished it, to my friend's who missed the whole thing yet when I walked in all I heard was someone say "We're watching commericals now." TO ME, that means we already watched the game and are going back to watch commericals, but apparently that means at this moment in time we are watching commercials, but are still in the middle of the game. In my excitment, I turned to my friend, Hunter, that I know loves football and said, "Aren't you excited about the Saints?" I knew he wanted them to win, and he just gave me a blank expression. I was confused because I thought he'd be happy and then I saw the TV come on to the third quarter of the game when the Saints were losing. Oooopsss.. at least only three people heard me. I am publicly apologizing for my actions!! Love you guys!

  • Answered Prayers

Okay, so I have been meaning to make an answered prayer book but that hasn't happened so I am going to try to make an answered prayer blog. here it goes!

    1. i really needed gas on my way back from lima the other week and it was one of those times that you are pleading with God to help you and He did! I got off on a stop that didnt even show there was any gas on the sign on the highway! i guessed which way to turn and I found a UDF down the street! And UDF is my favorite place to get gas because its usually a little cheaper:) i love how he works sometimes! this is what motivated me to start the "book"

    2. i asked that His will be done at Passion and it totally was! It was the hardest but most rewarding time of my lfe. i learned how to be a leader and love college students by helping them hear from God all while I am trying to hear from God myself! beautiful

  • The Perfect Job

Wow, so I just made a realization in the bathroom... why do so many of them happen there? Anyways, I can't believe I never looked at this way before, but I am right down the hall for the Career Management Office. I used to go there all the time as an undergrad to mock interviews and to interview for internships and jobs. I remember interviewing for Target and Sherwin-Williams, among others. At one point, I really wanted a sweet corporate job, but God was like Nope!! I have the PERFECT job for you right down the hall in a place you have never been to before He is so good

  • Passion

It's New Year's Eve and I get to leave work early at 11:15! I worked extra hours all week so that I could leave early today. David and I are about to go back to Lima to get my dad's car to take to Atlanta for Passion. Please be praying for us at this event! Over 24,000 college student's will gather to hear from Jesus, so just pray that nothing gets in the way of that. Pray that people would come to know you and know you better. Also pray for David and I leading everyone down there. Lord have mercy for us being the leaders! That's kinda scary!
Pray that all the details will come together and that I can have peace about the whole thing. God has made a lot of things come together so far and has taught me a lot already. I cannot being to believe what else He will have to say! Pray that we do not put ANY hope in this event, but just in Jesus. I believe when you put time aside for Him, He will speak!
